SMART-Learning Program Materials

All programs and materials chosen for use by SMART-4-Kidz are research-based. Furthermore, we assert that math, reading, and writing is connected and these programs afford us the opportunity to work within that belief.

We will be using the Scott Foresman-Addison Wesley Mathematics Program for Mathematics, the only new math program that includes changes dictated by NCLB. Pacing for Test Success ensures that all content is covered prior to the standardized tests given in schools. Foresman-Wesley also offers professional development for teachers.

McGraw Hill Education’s Reading Mastery Plus program is research based and designed to meet the needs of NCLB. Ongoing assessment and teacher development is part of the Reading Mastery Plus Program.
